New Beginnings!

     MONDAY morning and a new day has begun!  This was an exciting weekend for the chix!  Getting the blog all set up and the etsy ready to go...who guessed it could even happen.  Debbie gets back in town after a sweet vacation-can't wait to see her! Bet she is tan and has great ideas for art floating in that pretty little head of hers!! Nancy and I (Sandra) were much inspired after seeing the site, we both began working frantically on new goodies and art treats to post.  I just this morning finished an adorable chunky canvas. It started out as a collage/mixed media type thing, but in the end I ended up painting very painterly roses in red, raspberry and pink on top of it (No surprise to those of you who know me!!!). I love the sides as much as the top...the leaves continue to float in the bold colors.  This chubby little piece of art could even be put on an easel and tucked into a bookshelf.  I will be posting the pics of it later today...it will be another first...putting photos in blog.  So I hope you will all look forward to seeing it. Well I am off to the day job, today I am searching for fab fabrics for some of my favorite clients!!(Hello Shawnee and Andrea!!!) Have a great Monday!!     -post by Sandra
