From a bottle neck..to my neck:)

I LOVE odd jewelry!! Wooo - Hooo!!

Tonight I created some fun ODD necklace pieces!

Give me a bottle cap, some arms, legs and a head...and viola - art doll necklaces!  Now, I can't take creative credit here at all:)  I saw this 'somewhere' a while ago, and have had it in the back of my mind to attempt one of these when I found a spare minute ~ ( and some bottle caps)...I truly can't remember where ...a magazine..someone's blog...Help??. If you're out there and you've seen these too - please help me with my memory as I'd like to give credit, where credit is due. I think they are fabulous and I had soooooo much fun making them! The possibilities to what you could put on these are endless:)  I love endless possibilities!!!

Before my daughter tottled off to bed, she passed by my studio and was sooo excited to see me working with the bottle caps she'd been saving me.....and upon seeing that I was attaching arms and legs to them...she was EVEN MORE excited:)!

" I don't know what you're doing mommy...but I'd like one tomorrow... in PINK please"  was the comment she made as she said goodnight:) Hahaha!! Did I say I was taking orders?

But being thrilled that she wanted something I was making...I made the PINK one with the 'R' on it for her:)

I can't wait to wear mine tomorrow - I have a birthday party to go to....and I've already picked out my outfit ~ I had to make sure it matched my necklace, of course - hehe!! ( Mine: the one with the J and the wings on it)

So, it's 3AM....I should head to bed - funny how time gets away from you when you're having so much fun!
