{Guess what came to my house today???} and answers to other pertinent questions~~~

Can you just hear my squeals of delight??? After contemplating the color to paint my Living Room, coming to my fellow bloggers for your opinion....guess what I did??? No, I did not paint yet....I purchased some vintage tiles on ebay on a whim ( I'm thinking that financial planners and Dave Ramsey are frowning on this "whim" theory that I live by!) Just look at these: 17 vintage rose tiles!!! I can not begin to tell you what this does to my brain!!!! Creative overload! The seller listed them as antique green rose tiles ....green? Well, with my designer's eye (don't laugh! I may be 44, soon to be 45, but my eye for color is the one thing that has not started to go...yet!) They looked more like a blue-ish color to me...a little teal and turquoise tint to them...well when they arrived and I put them next to the color swatches *******YIPEEE, WhaHOOOOO!!!***** They are fantastic, fabulous, over the top perfect!!! There are 17 of these lovely ladies and they need a little TLC before I make my master plan with them...thinking maybe mosaic backsplash in the kitchen....hmmm, will play with that idea!  They are really thick tiles, grouped together and bordered with something pretty might be the way to go.....well, needless to say the kitchen is on the front burner now!  Besides it really does need some major overhaul...so to answer the next question...

Which color got the most votes....in case you are tuning in late...I am trying to decide between Sherwin Williams paint colors of Buoyant Blue and Tidewater to paint my living room.  The total tally proved Bouyant Blue to be the winner for the living room!!!  I counted ann marie just once even though she voted three times (serious color girl!!) only joking as I don't think she meant to vote three times (??) but Tidewater comes in a close second with only one vote under!  BUT...You will love this....the tidewater looks quite lovely against the tiles...thinking kitchen maybe??? Need to try that one out on the wall in there and see!  I will keep you posted on the updates...er....demolition of my house!!!! Maybe if I do before and after photos, it would inspire me to keep going....want to cheer me on...keep commenting and lets see where this color journey takes us!!! Besides, you may just see something in the before pics that you need for your cottage....all cast offs will be for sale on etsy!!!! Tell your friends!!! GREAT DEALS FOR ALL!!!!
